Cook Registration
In order to compete in this ICS sanctioned cook-off, you must be an active ICS member. *Registration to be a cook is now closed.
Each cook needs to have a Food Handler's Certificate* and bring a copy on day of event when you check in.
​
* Out of state/town food handles cards will work in our county - as long as they are current (not expired).
There is no need to get a Mohave County Card.

PEOPLE'S CHOICE - ALL CONTESTANTS must prepare five gallons of People’s Choice chili (PC). *Please note that the number of gallons of PC is per cook, not per category.
​
* Our MCC Bighorn Chili Cook Off Entry fee will be waived in lieu of providing 5 gallons of People’s Choice chili (PC).
• 10x10 space provided
• Cooks must bring their own canopy/tent, table & chairs and supplies
• Electricity is NOT available

*Set up time is from 6:00 am – 7:30 am
​
*MANDATORY cooks meeting at 8:00 am
​
** By registering, you agree to bring 5 gallons of People's Choice chili for all to sample,
plus your 32 oz competition chili for your specific category.
​
** A 32 oz judge's cup will be given to you to fill and turn in at your specific category time.

The World Championship Chili Cook-off (WCCC)

The International Chili Society (ICS) is the largest sanctioning body of chili cook-offs in the country. Every year hundreds of chili cooks compete nationwide to qualify for ICS’s season finale – the World Championship Chili Cook-off (WCCC)! In its 56th year in existence and 3rd year in Myrtle Beach, this is not just any old cook-off. This cook-off determines who can claim the title of World Champion and their portion of a $75,000 prize purse! The best part? You get to be a part of the action! The WCCC features champion chili tastings, beer gardens, food trucks, live music, craft and retail vendors, a kid zone, and MORE!
